Democratic National Convention
The Democratic Party will have its national convention at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado from August 25 - 28.  Senator Barack Obama will officially take the nomination at the convention.  

Young Democrats Meeting
We invite you to attend our next Orange County Young Democrats meeting on Thursday, September 11th at 7:00 PM at Bistro 400 located at 400 W. 4th Street, Santa Ana CA, 92701. The meeting will take place immediately after the demonstration at Disney, so be sure to come after marching with UNITE HERE Local 681. With special drink prices and free food, we will have more fun than Rush Limbaugh in an all night pharmacy.  Our meeting will be followed by Drinking Liberally at Memphis. 

Last Day to Register to Vote
October 20^th is the last day to register to vote for the Presidential election.  Be sure to register so that you can vote and be the Margin of Victory for Democrats.  

Last Day to Request an Absentee Ballot
October 28th is the last day to request an absentee ballot for the Presidential election. 

Presidential Election
Tuesday November 4th is the Presidential election.  Let’s make sure that everyone knows that in Orange County, young people are the Margin of Victory for Democrats. Head out to your polling place or turn in your absentee ballot.
