Orange
County Young Democrats Endorse
Hoa
Tran for County
Supervisor
The
Orange County Young Democrats Endorse Tran in His Race for Orange
County Board
of Supervisors
SANTA ANA, CA
– The Orange County Young Democrats have endorsed Hoa Tran for Orange County’s
First Supervisor District.
Hoa Tran is a candidate for the Orange County Board of
Supervisors.
He is running to represent the First Supervisor District, which
includes Santa Ana, Garden
Grove, Westminster, and Midway City.
Tran is currently an attorney in Garden Grove and represents consumers
and small
businesses. He previously served in the
US Army as an intelligence officer and even served during the first
Gulf
War.
As County
Supervisor, Tran
plans to make parks,
health care, and reducing crime a priority.
“The
time has come for Democrats in Central Orange
County
to rally around Hoa Tran. If we’re
serious about changing the direction of the Board of Supervisors, we
need to
start right here and right now,” said Jason Bensley, Chair of the
Orange County
Young Democrats. “After
the First District, we can move onto other areas in Orange County. This
race is just the beginning of that process.
”
The Orange County Young Democrats are an
active
part of local Democratic politics and strive to encourage progressive
political
activism and participation among young people ages 14 to
35.
